Experiment: McDonalds customers

Aim: To observe McDonald's customers' behaviour after greeting them.

Hypothesis: McDonald's customers are ignorant to greetings.

Equipment: McDonald's store, Headsets

Method:
1. Greet the customer as they come to the speaker box by saying "Hi, welcome to Subway. What can I get you?"
2. Observe behaviour.
3. Record results.
4. Repeat experiment with a variety of greetings e.g. KFC, Hungry Jacks, Krispy Kreme etc.

Conclusion: McDonald's employees observed customers' behaviours using a variety of greetings. The customers ignored the greetings and went straight to their order, making the hypothesis correct. The results are valid as we have repeated the experiment a numerous of times. Ways we could improve the results would be to make longer greetings such as "Hi, welcome to Pizza Hut Express. Would you like to try our new Chilli Hawaiian Pizza?" to engage their attention.

Work yesterday was so fun, it went by fast, did the experiment, had a few laughs and got some hot gossip. :O I also tried the new Mint Slice Sundae, it's so delicious, better than the damn waffle cones. Went home, relaxed and watched So You Think You Can Dance, all the dances were Awesome! Awesome with a capital A! Last night's Hip Hop routine was probably the best Hip Hop dance throughout the whole show. Graeme also broke down in tears because he got contemporary for the third time, he is not gay. He is a very emotional and girly boy *sighs*. Then did homework, stayed up until 2AM. Damn school is taking over my life.

Today school was pretty fun, in the morning we played T-Ball. The Knights (the group I'm in) won two games and lost one. The last game was SO CLOSE!!! 184:198 runs. After sport, we had assembly. I hate it how people just stand there and talk and don't settle down yet complain about how assembly takes time from recess. Argh. Had recess, was suggesting reasons why Margarita & Cathy were away. Margarita may have gotten cramps in her ass again, or was cleaning up for a family party held yesterday. Vee & I made a bet, I betted Cathy Vu would come to school and Vee disagreed. The loser shouts the winner a train ticket, AHHAHAA. I won!

After recess was Economics. We were learning about Internal and External economies and diseconomies of scale. Next we had English, whereas everyone was eager to know their result for the English essay. Mrs. Plant told us the lowest mark was 4/15, others ranged between 7-11/15 and the highest was 14/15 but it's got to be confirmed. Gaahhhhhhhhhhh. Had lunch, ate then headed to library to study for Maths test. Had the Maths test next, I don't think I failed. I might have just passed. I hate Maths.

Oh yeah, the Coconuts went to the Easter show on Saturday night! It was so so so so fun! I got showbags- Willy Wonka, Chuppa Chups and Little Miss. I ate 2 corns and a hotdog on a stick. I also went onto 3 rides, which tossed me up, down and round and round. Altogether I spent $90, which wasn't much. :O



Anyways, toodles! I'm going to write study notes now :)
