Yay! Quitting IGA!

Dear Diana

I hereby tender my resignation from my role as cashier of the IGA Supermarket Company due to educational purposes. I have enjoyed the role and staff and will always have fond memories.

I'd like to thank you for the professional development you have assisted me with, and I am very proud that I have gained this experience. Because of this, I believe it has opened new opportunities to me.

I apologize for my short notice, as my last working day will be June 15, 2008.

Okay, I've finally hit that point where I'm sick and tired of having two jobs and my little body just can't produce 17 hours of labour each week continuously. So, I've decided to quit one- IGA. I just want to be free!!! Having to work so much, makes me not want to work at all.

This is gonna be my bitching session. I hate working at IGA, and as easy as it may seem- it usually isn't. I hate fruits and vegetables- they're not fresh, so never fucking believe them when they say 110% freshness! And there's just too much for me to remember, and it frustrates me. IGA at Canley Heights is the biggest tightass place I've ever worked at. No discounts, getting paid at part-time rates, no official uniform, 'barcode scams', expensive groceries and illegally selling tobacco.

Yes, I illegally sell tobacco- not to people younger than 18, but because I'm under 18. I wish I could like report myself so the cops can fine them and they'd fire me because they'd have to. It disgusts me how many cigarettes people purchase.

Also, often customers come after drinking. They've got the worst breath you could imagine. And once this pedophile guy like, stood there and chatted to me for 10 minutes. And he said "When you working next?" "Tomorrow." "Okay, see you then darling." Fucking make me puke in your face why don't you. I also hate the fact that they shove me in that box with the smallest section to put groceries on. It's as big as a pizza box and I get people with like $100+ groceries.

Anyways, my life long dream to work at Woolworth's is now over and done with. I now want to work at Toys R 'Us. LOL, I'll maybe apply next year.

P.S. Give me constructive criticism on my resignation letter, LOL. (I'm handing it in tomorrow)
P.P.S. My birthday is tomorrow! Not really excited, but whatever I expect a lot out of you 'sweet 16'.

Drawn Together is a comedy on SBS every Monday after South Park. I don't often watch it, but it's surely worth the watch. All three seasons are on my want list now. =.="
